Mindfulness Retreat in Kyoto with Anh-Huong and Thu Nguyen
Join us for the weekend, to practice the art of mindful living in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh
A rare opportunity to meet with two exceptional dharma teachers
About the retreat
Life is filled with suffering, but it is also filled with many wonders, like the rain, the sunshine, the flowers, the stars, the eyes of a baby. When we are one with the present moment, joy and peace spontaneously arise. Our suffering is not denied or repressed, but held gently, lovingly, in mindful awareness.
In this retreat, we will come together to learn and practice the art of conscious breathing to calm our bodies and minds, and allow ourselves to be nourished by the wonders of life that are inside us and all around us. Through the practice of sitting meditation, walking meditation, listening to the bell, mindful eating, mindful movements, qi-gong, total body relaxation, we will learn to bring mindfulness into our daily lives in order to touch the peace and happiness that are available in the present moment and to nourish our compassion.
